balhara Posted October 25, 2008 Report Posted October 25, 2008 I am visiting Washington DC and am trying to find a pet-friendly hotel for tonight 10/25 - One of the previous posts said that Rogue hotel www.roguehotel.com on hotwire is pet friendly, and wanted to see if you might know how to identify this hotel (or any other pet friendly hotel) on hotwire.I'd greatly appreciate any help. Thank you!
AaronJB Posted October 25, 2008 Report Posted October 25, 2008 Welcome to the site! :)When using HOTWIRE, one can identify a listing that may *match* how the Rogue usually appears in terms of amenity listing. However, with Hotwire there may be multiple hotels that will display with the same listing information.Even if only the Rogue hotel has been reported with a certain list of amenities on HOTWIRE, there is still that outside chance that it could be something else. It's generally not recommended to use Hotwire (or especially Priceline) when an amenity (pool, pet-friendly, etc. etc.) is absolutely necessary, as there's no way to know absolutely 100% which hotel you are going to get.I would be happy to do some research and see what I can find in terms of pet-friendly properties. Be back shortly.
AaronJB Posted October 25, 2008 Report Posted October 25, 2008 I'm not seeing a potential Rogue listing on Hotwire for tonight. I do see Expedia.com having a special on the Affinia Liaison, a newer Affinia property. Affinia does have a "Jet Set Pet" program (http://www.affinia.com/Page.aspx?name=jet-set-pets & listed as an amenity here: http://www.affinia.com/Washington-DC-Hotel...ices-Amenities), but I would recommend calling to confirm details for this program at this particular property and to let them know in advance. In terms of price, Expedia does have a better price ($168.75 for the night) than the hotel website. If this is of interest, it would be greatly appreciated if you could start the booking process by clicking the site's link to Expedia.com, as it supports the site.
