thereuare Posted October 23, 2008 Report Posted October 23, 2008 Not to far from prices you have already bid, HOTWIRE has a 3.5* property in the Downtown zone for $135/nite which appears to be the Radisson (Restaurant, Pool, Fitness, Internet, Business... 3.0/5.0 TA rating)Reviews are mixed but mention a good location... not really sure of your needs or how high you're willing to go so thought i'd at least mention the above. Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.Let us know what you ultimately decide to do for this stay or if we can be of further help. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
Sweetone Posted October 24, 2008 Report Posted October 24, 2008 I'm guessing that the dates you were trying for is part of the problem. You are trying for a room in the state capitol on election day and the day after. I suspect the demand is probably high and that is why you are having no luck. Just a thought.
louisd Posted October 27, 2008 Author Report Posted October 27, 2008 Just booked directly with the Doubletree UT. Was able to get it directly through my travel agency for $119/night. Thanks.
thereuare Posted October 28, 2008 Report Posted October 28, 2008 Glad you found something which works for your need, but note that:1) we're an affiliate of the Doubletree... please use the links in our support page for your hotel direct purchases2) the Doubletree University is available on their website for $116/nite for your dates Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
louisd Posted November 10, 2008 Author Report Posted November 10, 2008 Unfortunately, if I book directly I have to work through our Corporate Travel Agency because we get kickbacks at the end of the year...
