Tried 4* at $70, $76, $83, $91, $100, $110 & $125

Tried 3.5* at $75, $85, $100 & $125

All failed.

Not to far from prices you have already bid, HOTWIRE has a 3.5* property in the Downtown zone for $135/nite which appears to be the Radisson (Restaurant, Pool, Fitness, Internet, Business... 3.0/5.0 TA rating)

Reviews are mixed but mention a good location... not really sure of your needs or how high you're willing to go so thought i'd at least mention the above.

I'm guessing that the dates you were trying for is part of the problem. You are trying for a room in the state capitol on election day and the day after. I suspect the demand is probably high and that is why you are having no luck. Just a thought.

Just booked directly with the Doubletree UT. Was able to get it directly through my travel agency for $119/night. Thanks.

2) the Doubletree University is available on their website for $116/nite for your dates

Unfortunately, if I book directly I have to work through our Corporate Travel Agency because we get kickbacks at the end of the year...
