Tenuki Posted October 21, 2008 Report Posted October 21, 2008 I bid for a 4 star hotel at LAX after losing a 4* bid twice for Hollywood ($120 and $130 10/19-10/20). I was successful on the first bid thanks to this board and checking hotwire prices. My bid of $80 per room for two rooms at a 4 star hotel at LAX for 10/19 -10/20 was accepted and I was booked at the Westin at LAX. Total taxes and fees were $31 for a grand total of $191. The Westin was great! Clean, very spacious, and the staff was awsome! We were travelling with three children under three and they really took care of us. The only downside was the extra charge for parking. I believe it was $18 self park, or $28 for valet. Overall great experience and would do it again in a heartbeat!-T.
