jmd soccer Posted October 21, 2008 Report Posted October 21, 2008 I looked at HOTWIRE earlier in the week and noticed a 4-star hotel in Palm Desert - La Quinta w/ the "Resort" symbol available for $89; 10/24-26. Sunday morning I was going to book it, but the price had moved up by at least $20. So, I bid $80.00 on PRICELINE for a Resort in Rancho Mirage-Indian Wells-Palm Desert and immediately got:La Quinta Resort & Club 10/24 - 10/262 nts for $160Taxes & Fees $27.50Total Charges: $187.50There will also be an additional $27/day resort fee.Booked on: 10/19I wonder if I should have started at a lower price?
