Thanks for the post and sorry to hear the property didn't meet your wife's expectations... but hopefully worth the $50 you paid.

I don't think there's too much you can complain about the parking charge, but when faced with tangible issues (ie- cigarette burn in the conforter if that's an issue) it's an appropriate time to contact management and express what type of room you would like and ask for a room change.

If it was worth $50 (well $65 or so after taxes and fees), it was mostly due to convenience. I suppose we've been fairly fortunate with previous PRICELINE stays and thus getting something that is of mediocre quality is disappointing.

As for parking, I'm certainly aware that people will charge what they can get away with - that's part of capitalism. I just found it surprising that a lesser property (than the Grand Hyatt) was able to charge more for self-parking.
