thereuare Posted October 15, 2008 Report Posted October 15, 2008 Please follow-up your previous Priceline New York City thread with whatever you ended up doing for that stay... then bump this thread and we'll have a look at the above. Younescito Posted October 15, 2008 Author Report Posted October 15, 2008 Done, sorry for forgetting to follow-up on the my previous thread!
thereuare Posted October 15, 2008 Report Posted October 15, 2008 We've added a reply to your NYC thread which hopefully you'll follow-up on.In regards to your stay above...PRICELINE only guarantees double occupancy... after that it's at the discretion of the hotel. If you win a bid the hotel would be within their rights, and upholding their end of the agreement, if they gave you a room which only had one bed (the hotel could be full and no rooms with two beds avaialble, the hotel coudl be unwilling to give you such a room, or they could demand an additional charge)HOTWIRE allows you to search for up to quad occupancy and ensures that there are enough sleeping accomodations for each person you include in your search. In most situations this results in two beds in the room, although th 'second bed' could be a pullout sofabed or a rollaway.Let us know how you'd like to proceed and we'll advise accordingly. Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases. Younescito Posted October 15, 2008 Author Report Posted October 15, 2008 I don't want to take the risk. I'll go with HOTWIRE. Thanks again!
