cgtrio Posted October 14, 2008 Report Posted October 14, 2008 Just a quick follow up on this hotel after our stay there. This is not a 3.5 star hotel. It is an old Holiday Inn converted to a Marriott, and is in need of major renovations. The rooms back by the pool are quiet because they are away from the freeway. And for the price we paid it was good. But it's not up to the standard that I generally know from Marriott hotels, and it's definitely not a 3.5 star hotel. Maybe 2.5 or 3 at the most.
lindabobhat Posted October 17, 2008 Report Posted October 17, 2008 For the record, that hotel has been a Marriott for at least 30 years. I don't doubt that it is in dire need of renovations, however, to the best of my knowledge it has never been a Holiday Inn.
