ez311
Any advice on where to bid for one night at 3* or 3.5* in Savannah historic district, 10/25-10/26? I tried $60 on both 3.5* and 3*, no luck. I am hoping to get the Hyatt, but it looks like the Marriott riverfront and Hilton Desoto would be nice as well. I think there is a film festival starting that weekend in Savannah, so I'm not sure if tha will impact availability and pricing. Link to comment
thereuare
What is your maximum bid for this stay? Are you willing to pay more for a 3.5* vs. a 3* or are you looking for the least expensive 3* or better for this stay?Let us know the above and we'll advise accordingly.PLEASE remember to use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your bidding/travel purchases. ez311
It looks like others have been able to get the Hyatt for $62-$75. That would be great but I could go a little higher. I would be willing to pay a little more for 3.5* over a 3*. Link to comment

thereuare
Based upon the hotels you mention in your post it sounds as if you're bidding the Historic District? If so, at the 3.5* level you have FIVE re-bid zones. If you're not familiar with re-bidding please read Priceline Re-Bidding Explained and feel free to ask questions and/or confirm your re-bid zones with the board before proceeding.Select 3.5* Historic...Bid $60, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $65, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $70, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $75, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $80, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $85.Any questions feel free to ask. Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.Good luck and let us know how it goes. ez311
I received an accepted offer on my first bid of $70 + taxes ($86.09). The Hilton Head Island Westin Resort and Spa is pricing out at $179 + taxes through the Starwood site so I think I got a pretty good deal. Link to comment
ez311
I didn't have any luck bidding in Savannah, but I was able to get the Westin in Hilton Head for $70 Link to comment
