bid $140 4* nma no luck added loop went to $150 no luck..then went to 3.5* and bid back to $140 and won Hotel Burnham...interesting didnt win with just 4 star bid but when I dropped the rating and price I won. then my priceline confirmation says congratuations we upgraded you to a 4 star hotel lol

While hotels usually do not adjust their rates down too far in advance, I think this is still going to turn out to be an excellent deal for the Burnham by the time next Summer rolls around. Additionally, the work being done across the street will also likely be done by then. Any which way, excellent hotel (and both beautiful and incredibly historic) at an excellent price.
