Rates are somewhat higher than we're used to seeing; as well, Sunday seems very expensive, Monday drops, then rates go back up for Tues and Wed :) Do you have a maximum bid in mind? Do you have a back-up hotel reserved already (if so, where and how much)? If you're not successful at first, would you consider SPLITTING YOUR PRICELINE BID? zizou Posted July 21, 2004 Author Report Posted July 21, 2004 Did not work up to $150 but I then I changed my check in date to the 24 instead of the 23 and got the Renaissance which is great. I will now find a hotel near the airport for the night of the 23 but I'm OK with that.Thanks,

thereuare Posted July 21, 2004 Report Posted July 21, 2004 Well rates were high throughout your stay, but how did you go about bidding?Did you bid the complete cycle up to $150 and then change your check-in date and bid $150? If so, it is likely that this is an over-bid. The correct method would have been to start over completely, following the strategy again with the new check-in date.
