cottonsworth Posted October 4, 2008 Report Posted October 4, 2008 I'm a bit confused at the options in Savannah. Hotwire is giving me a rate of $94 a night for a 4* on Hilton Island Head, which is technically in South Carolina. I'm trying to stay at the Westin Harbor in Savannah (listed on this website as being in the historic district) or at least very close to it. I'm thinking about using Priceline to get a better rate. Would you suggest I use Priceline or buy outright from Hotwire? Any strategies would be appreciated. Thanks.

cottonsworth Posted October 6, 2008 Author Report Posted October 6, 2008 I decided going against being on Hilton Island Head as it isn't even in Savannah. It'll take 30-45 minutes to get to where I actually want to be. So, I'm looking to stay in the historic district on Oct 8 to Oct 11 for a 3*. Any suggests on bidding strategies through Priceline? Thanks.
thereuare Posted October 7, 2008 Report Posted October 7, 2008 Have you given up at targeting the Westin since that is a Resor class prperty and you've asked to bid on a 3* hotel. What is your maximum bid for this stay and we'll suggest a strategy for you to follow. Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.
