Monty Posted October 4, 2008 Report Posted October 4, 2008 I'm planning being in the TriCities area from 11/9/08 -11/12/08There are two hotels I need to ID:1. 3* Richland/Pasco $75 Airport Shuttle, Internet Access, Golf Course, Rest onsite, Non Smoking, Pool2. 2 1/2* Richland/Pasco $84 Pool, Laundry FacilitiesAny ideas which hotels??? :)
tilepusher Posted October 4, 2008 Report Posted October 4, 2008 #1 is very likely either the Red Lion Columbia Center in Kennewick or the Red Lion Richland Hanford House. #2 could be just about anything; there's little point in trying to determine exactly which hotel it is because the rates at many of the likely candidates are about the same or slightly higher than the rate Hotwire is advertising. If you decide to book one of these rooms through Hotwire, please use the HOTWIRE links on this site to begin your purchase. If you're comfortable with using Priceline, I would recommend that you try bidding for a 3* hotel. You will probably get one of the above Red Lions for significantly less than what Hotwire is charging.

I didn't see on on the Red Lion description Hanford House??? Stayed at Red Lion Kenniwick--not a desirable location in the heart of strip malls.. Would love to get the Marriott any chance of that happening?I've tried $50-$52 3* on Priceline but no go...
tilepusher Posted October 5, 2008 Report Posted October 5, 2008 Any chance it would be Marriott Courtyard in Richmond since there is a golf course on site.I'm pretty sure it's not. The Courtyard's website says that the hotel does not have airport shuttle service (look under "Maps and Transportation"). According to Expedia, both Red Lion hotels have all the listed amenities (the golf course only has to be a short drive away; it doesn't have to be on site). Also, when the information on a Hotwire listing is consistent with more than one hotel, it's usually prudent to assume the worst; I've seen a lot of overly optimistic people get burned. You're probably close to a winning bid on Priceline (remember to use the PRICELINE links on this site to start your bids).
slick_gd Posted October 5, 2008 Report Posted October 5, 2008 Does HOTWIRE list the tripadvisor traveler review rating for any of these hotels? It could be another route to track down which hotel it is.If it does, please list the traveler review rating, # of reviews it is based on, and the date of the last review.
