komputerguy Posted October 1, 2008 Report Posted October 1, 2008 Looking for what hotel the St. George Utah listing is. Listed amenities are:Airport SHuttle, Complimentary Breakfast, Fitness Center, Pool, Business Center, Laundry Facilities, High-speed Internet.Trying to get the Howard Johnson as it allows pets.
slick_gd Posted October 1, 2008 Report Posted October 1, 2008 Does HOTWIRE list the tripadvisor traveler review rating? If so, please include the rating, the number of reviews it is based on, and the date of the last review.
komputerguy Posted October 1, 2008 Author Report Posted October 1, 2008 Yes! 4.5 out of 5Based on 40+ customer reviews (Last reviewed July 2008)
slick_gd Posted October 1, 2008 Report Posted October 1, 2008 There's only one hotel in St. George Utah that matches the tripadvisor traveler rating and that is the Best Western Abbey Inn. That would be my best guess. (The amenities also match up).Use this HOTWIRE link to start your purchase and let the board know the result.
komputerguy Posted October 1, 2008 Author Report Posted October 1, 2008 Thanks! No pets allowed there. It was worth a shot. :)
zbenye Posted October 2, 2008 Report Posted October 2, 2008 No pets allowed there. :) Thumbs up to that :)
XT600 Posted October 17, 2008 Report Posted October 17, 2008 Note: St. George seems to have a lot overcapacity. I got 3* Holiday Inn St. George for $55 but the local low end motels start with 24,99/night!!The HI St. George is for my understanding more motel than hotel and more 2* than 3*, old (location seems to be one of the earlier hotel location in St. George) rooms as well but in good shape and good management so quite ok for that price. You could try to negotiate onsite after having checked the hotel rooms (e.g. Courtyard or Hampton Inn on the other side of highway
St George Utah Hotels Posted May 31, 2011 Report Posted May 31, 2011 I have to stay in St. George fairly regularly. I would suggest either the Best Western Coral Hill or the Best Western Travel Inn. They are very clean and the staff really is top notch. Not sure about pets though. I can't remember ever seeing anyone with any or those doggy kennels.
