Priceline Hotel: 5* Las Vegas (Strip North) Venetian

I would appreciate your help in identifying a bidding strategy for a nice (hopefully romantic) 4* hotel on the strip for 2 nights, Oct 9-11 (Thursday-Saturday).

I've looked at the Las Vegas Hotel Checker and noticed that without any bidding, I can get the Monte Carlo (4*, right?) for $59 for Thursday and $135 for Friday. I'm assuming that with bidding I can get it (or any other 4*) for less than $194 total. Is it realistic to bid $150 total for a 4* on the strip and get a nice one?

Also, we would really like to go see Zumanity (Cirque Du Soleil) on Friday night (Oct 10). So you know of any hotel deals that are cheaper for a hotel/show package?

I also read the great reviews on the Venetian here (5*, may be too expensive for us, not sure). What do you guys think will be the bidding price range and strategy for the above dates to get it?

UPDATE - Won the Venetian for $140/night for 2 nights (Oct 9-11, Thus-Sat)

- Placed a first bid for $130 / 5* / Area 6 - Las Vegas Strip Vicinity North - Lost

- Added area 2 (Convention Center) for $135 - Lost

- Added area 3 (Fremont St. Vicinity) for #140 - Won
