Priceline Hotel: 3* St George Holiday Inn

same day bid $55 was accepted, total $68... maybe overprice but alternatives are rare in St. George :) ICHotels.com shows $110 for same period (crazy who pays that)

Note that this hotel seems to be rated by the "Priceline rating agency" (?) now as 3*. I just wonder where are these 3*s in the hotel? The indoor-outdoor pool? Our room 102 has direct access from parking place and looks like a Motel 6 from 70ies, A/C loud

quiet room to back, free parking, free internet and free continental breakfast is at least something what keeps me somehow happy

Actually we planned to test the HI Express Washington at the I15 highway exit just north of St. George and I had booked the Government rate in order to try if they really check any ID (which don't have but I (color-) printed an "Holiday Inn ID for Government rates" which you get online). Before I'd have ended up in paying the official AAA Rate at HI Express in Washington ($89) I decided in the morning to use PRICELINE
