Priceline Hotel: virginia beach area - Nov 8

Any idea what kind of prices I should bid for this one. It's off season. We have a car so we're a little more flexible on area, but want some proximity to the Cavalier. Most important, we need two beds. I know I can get Best western on an AARP rate of 42, and haven't checked anything else.

What is the minimum star rating, maximum bid, and zone(s) you're willing to accept?

There are few Best Western properties in this area, which one are you looking at for $42/nite (and please note we're an affiliate so please use our link if you go this route)

I don't think we care about stars, but we want the Virginia beach (area) location and two beds - so we may have to go 3 stars to ensure two beds. If we do wind up taking the Best western, we'll certainly use your link.

You can't guarantee 2 beds when using PRICELINE... regardless of star level.

You can use HOTWIRE and search for triple/quad occupancy (using any combination of adults/children) as the guarantee 'sleeping accomodations' for everyone included in your search, but the 2nd bed could be a pullout sofabed or a rollaway bed... not sure if that would work for your plans or not.

HOTWIRE didn't have any good deals when I last looked for this. I think since we're only staying one night, we could make do. Do you have a reccommendation for where to start bidding on PRICELINE, if we go that route?
