Hotwire Hotel: 5* florence hotel ID

Hey Guys...

Trying to book hotel in Florence for Oct 30 to Nov 2... Hotwire is offering 5* for $244.00 per night... Does anyone know what hotel this may be? Amenities listed are:

Shuttle, Fitness Centre, Pool, Restaurant, Golf Nearby, Tennis Nearby

Any Help would be appreciated...

Double checking this offer on HOTWIRE I noticed that the tripadvisor traveler review rating is 4 out of 5 circles based on 60+ reviews with the last one in September 2008.

Going to tripadvisor directly the only hotel that matches this criteria and the amenities is the Grand Hotel Villa Medici. That would be my best guess.

Use this HOTWIRE link to start your purchase and let the board know the result. If it is indeed the Grand Hotel Villa Medici we would like to know so that we could add it to our hotel lists.

Thanks for your help.... The only question i have now is that tripadvisor rates the grand mendici as a 4 star....

Hotel ratings may vary with each website as they each have their own rating systems. Expedia rates this property as a 5* as well as a couple other sites I checked, which I can't remember at the moment. I have found that the Expedia/HOTWIRE ratings tend to be similar to each other (although not in every case).
