jimdamedic
We're going to a convention in Atlanta October 20-24. I initially got the Marriott Marquis for $55/night on my first bid. When a co-worker also committed to going, I bid for her app 3 weeks later and received the 2nd room for $60/night. Marriott processed my request for king/smoking without problem and guaranteed those choices. Thanks for the great site. Link to comment

jimdamedic
I bid $55 and was rejected, Priceline countered with $68, and accepted $60. I think I may be bidding on two more rooms as well, we'll see what they are accepted at. Link to comment
jimdamedic
Last night I got a 3rd room, also at $60/night for those same nights. Link to comment

jimdamedic
.....and a fourth room, also at $60/night. I was getting worried thinking that eventually they'd run out of availability. The conference rate for this property was $150/night. They had limited remaining availability at that rate but were perfectly willing to give me a room for less than half that. Amazing....
