onefourty4870 Posted September 18, 2008 Report Posted September 18, 2008 I have a concert up in pensacola October 17th and was wondering if anyone had any idea what the 2 star on hotwire with no amenities was. Thanks!
slick_gd Posted September 18, 2008 Report Posted September 18, 2008 Nobody has reported a 2* in Pensacola to the board, and without any amenities it's virtually impossible to guess which one it could be. I don't know if anybody else on the board has any ideas, but I think this one is definitely a shot in the dark.Use this HOTWIRE link to start your purchase and let the board know the result.
thereuare Posted September 18, 2008 Report Posted September 18, 2008 There are a LOT of budget hotels in this area too... Days Inn, Extended Stay, Knights Inn, Ramada, Travelodge, Best Value Inn, Super 8, etc, etc.Quite a few of these properties are available on Expedia in the low/mid-$50s and i'd sooner pay a few dollars more to pick a low star rated hotel than purchase one completely 'unknown'. On the otherhand, you may be able to find better value with one of the higher rated hotels, but don't know what you're expected budget is.Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases. onefourty4870 Posted September 25, 2008 Author Report Posted September 25, 2008 I see your point. We will avoid hotwire. Thanks again. I'll be posting another question on a different thread b/c its for a different city and dates in october. (Busy month!)
thereuare Posted September 25, 2008 Report Posted September 25, 2008 If you do end up booking thru Expedia please use our link to do so (or if you go hotel direct please use the links in the support page as we have links there to most of the major hotel chains)Thank you. Rhine-and-Roses Posted October 1, 2008 Report Posted October 1, 2008 I am not normally this blunt, but you would be absolutely crazy to take a two star hotel in Pensacola w/o knowing what it is. Here's an example of why Palm Court Inn and SuitesThis is my hometown, and I can promise you, no matter how tough you are, there are places in this town you don't want to go near.
