djc9 Posted September 18, 2008 Report Posted September 18, 2008 Hi, first time priceline bidder here, should I definitely split up the 4 rooms? I'm going to be with a large group. With the new re-zoning I assume I should try something like thisUSE$80, rebid zone1$90, rebid zone2$100, rebid zone 3re-accessUSW$80, rebid zone 1$90, rebid zone2$100, rebid zone3re-accessEmbarcedero$80, rebid zone1$90, rebid zone2$100, rebid zone3re-accessSOMA$80, rebid zone1$90, rebid zone2$100, rebid zone3re-accessUSW+USE$100, rebid zone1$110, rebid zone2$120, rebid zone 3And then doing something like Embarcedero + SOMA and various other combinations of the 4 as necessary as I get the rejections.Am I way off here? I haven't been having any luck so I'm thinking I'm a little too early and/or more likely I need to split the rooms from 4 to 1. thanks in advance!

djc9 Posted September 18, 2008 Author Report Posted September 18, 2008 Right, just the night of 10/24. We are staying in Napa on 10/25 (another story).I'd like to keep maximum bid at $120. Otherwise we're looking at standard booking in a minimal 2-star for about the same price like the Travel Lodge Golden Gate. The trip is for a birthday so if we can manage a priceline 4* deal that would be great. If it's not possible, then that's ok too but I wanted to try.Conventional pricing of 4-stars in the area is not looking good. $400-500.Thanks for offering to help, thereuare!
