el_izalco
After numerous tries only trying 5* and 4* hotels in MTE and MTW it said if i wanted to increase my bid by $22 (it was $115) without changing the area i could do that... I decided not to and instead just added 3* hotels to my bid. I got one finally! Link to comment
thereuare
Welcome to BetterBidding!Thank you for sharing your results with the board. When you added 3* hotels to your bid did you then raise your bid by $1? If so, it is usually recommended to LOWER YOUR BID AMOUNT WHEN YOU LOWER YOUR STAR LEVEL.RE-BIDDING is also a technique that you may want to read about that can help you with your future bids.Still much better than the $179/nite rate the Radisson shows on their website. :) Be sure to check out Ess-A-Bagel one morning for breakfast... inexpensive and one of the best bagels NYC has to offer (on Third Ave between 50th-51st St... just a few blocks from your hotel).Enjoy your stay in the Big Apple.
