Priceline Hotel: 3* Newark (Jersey City) Hyatt Regency on the Hudson

Started bidding at $75 (rate I got when I went earlier this year), but it seems that fall is a very busy season in NYC / NJ. Added $5 per bid, using 3* re-bid zones (Elizabeth and West Orange at the time of writing - but check every time you bid, because these can change!). Finally got it for $115.

I tried bidding on every weekend of the fall, this one seemed to be the only one with some availability on HOTWIRE ($169) and PRICELINE. Hyatt.com rate for theses dates was $219 (the lowest of any weekend between now and Christmas). All other weekends where between $269 and $500+ per night.

I have been to this property before and was, very very happy with it. This time I'm taking my inlaws to NYC for their first visit in 30 years. I'm sure they'll enjoy the hotel itself, the views and easy transportation by PATH to Manhattan.
