I booked the 5* hotel through hotwire to exend my stay in Las Vegas. Because of the great advice on this board I was pretty sure it was the Venetian. So between hotwire and priceline the average room cost with tax was approx 134.49 a night. Oct. 26- Oct.30. Has anyone ever used pricline and hotwire at same on the same vacation? :)

Pl will beat hotwire every time for the Venetian.

Always use Pl when you are trying for the V,as there are a lot of free rebids that you can use for 5* bidding and you can low ball your offer, little by little until you find their lowest acceptable price.

I have stayed at hotels with multiple reservations booked thru different sources, but never Priceline and Hotwire on the same stay.

Just inform them when you check-in that you have a second reservation to continue your stay. You'll probably have to show up on the 'switch' day in order to officially check-in/check-out, but you'll be given the same room and won't need to move at all.

Good Luck in Vegas and enjoy your trip.
