Hotwire Hotel: 2* Tucson (South-Airport TUS) Crossland Suites

I was suprised to see this hotel come up as a 2*. On other websites it is rated as a 1* and based on tripadvisor reviews, doesn't merit a 2*. Reviews indicate you get a bar of soap, no shampoo, no other amenities, other complaints about hard beds and other issues.

Hotwire description was only laundry facility. Hotwire indicated that other hotels in this category are LaQuinta, etc.

I called to complain about the star rating saying it was misleading and hotwire would not do anything about it. I said for $39 (or less depending on what the hotel got), they lost a customer.

Thank you for sharing your results with the board... sorry to hear you're not happy with the outcome or HOTWIRE's response to your complaint.

Many 'extended stay' type properties are seen with just a Laundry icon, so if you don't like these type of properties, it's probably best to stay away from any offers with just a Laundry icon, and even better, stick with properties rated 3 star and higher.
