Priceline Hotel: 27/11-02/12 - Midtown west NYC

I fly to New York on the 27.11.08 untill 02.12.08 and need to be near the Empire state building ( my friends are staying at the Metro) but i dont want to pay $400 a night so decided to use priceline to get a better deal. i dont mind either 3* or 4* and will be sharing with my mum so dont mind a double. I am willing to accept the empire state area, madison gardens area and times square. My friends are staying near Macys so ideally not too far from there.

My maximum bid would be $300 ( the hotel my friends are staying at is per night $370 for a boutique hotel so i am trying to get a better deal).

I am hoping for a 3* or 4*.

dont really fancy splitting as i have nver been to NYC so am totally unfamilar with how far things are there and would want to have some base to get my bearings.

I have used the links you suggested last bid rejected was $300 for 4* Times square/madison gardens/empire state. :)
