rey68 Posted July 12, 2004 Report Posted July 12, 2004 Did the same thing as this PRICELINE POST on July 12th.For Aug. 28-301st bid 4* Quebec City $50-rejected2nd bid add zone bid $55-rejected3rd bid add zone bid $58-rejected4th bid added 3*hotels and lowered bid to $50- rejectedStayed at the Holiday Inn Select 2 years ago. It was OK but would rather be near Old Quebec City. That's why I want the 4 star or some of the 3 stars
thereuare Posted July 12, 2004 Report Posted July 12, 2004 A few prior winning bids show that it took bids of $58-$62 to land a 3* hotel in this zone. Many hotels also appear to have a rate change during your stay, so although SPLITTING YOUR BID is not a great option for a 2 nite stay, it may be something you want to think about if money is more important than convenience. Also, we have Holiday Inn Select listed as a 3* so you do risk getting that hotel again (unless you have some information that it has been downgraded)Thanks. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
