lparker Posted September 14, 2008 Report Posted September 14, 2008 I just won a hotel for 10/8-10/11 at the Intercontinental for $105. I'd been trying several days, using the bidding tricks, and kept getting turned down bidding up to $100. I won this one at $105 on the first bid today. I am mad at myself. I knew I should have started out lower. :)

kpet Posted September 14, 2008 Report Posted September 14, 2008 Would you mind sharing any bidding tricks to get the Intercontinental in Downtown Miami? I would like to stay there for 1 night this Friday, the 19th (going on a cruise the next day). The going rate on every sight I have seen is $199 for that time. I was just afraid that since you never see many wins for the Intercontinental, and usually wins for the Hyatt, that I might end up with the Hyatt. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
