llama Posted July 12, 2004 Report Posted July 12, 2004 Hello.I've been using priceline the last couple of days to try and find a deal for a Resort type hotel in the Disney World Area. Travel dates are 10-8 - 10-16So far I've bid up to $85, and got nothing back. Also, I'm familar with rebidding, but where can I find what the 8 zones are? Thanks in advance! :)Rob
thereuare Posted July 12, 2004 Report Posted July 12, 2004 Welcome to BetterBidding! If you're asking how to figure out which zones qualify as your re-bid zones, from our RE-BIDDING EXPLAINED post:The way to check what star levels are available in each zone is to open a Priceline page, check ONLY the zone you are inquiring about, and then proceed to the next page (as if you were going to select a zone)... this will give you the available star ratings in that area. You can then hit BACK on your browser, uncheck the current box, check the next box, and repeat the process. It is important to do this before EACH attempt at adding a zone that you really don't want, as new hotels can be added and the star ratings can change at any time.Feel free to confirm you re-bid zones with the board (to aoid any mistakes).I don't see any inflated rates for your dates so it may just be a bit too early for October. I wouldn't advise doing so just yet as i think you'll have better luck in the coming weeks/months, but you may at least want to start giving thought to SPLITTING THE BID.Keep us updates as to your progress. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
seningen Posted July 27, 2004 Report Posted July 27, 2004 I've been following the WDW area for the same dates -- even been bidding some lower values - but not getting any bites -- will have to be a bit more patient.mike
