Hotwire Hotel: 4* San Francisco (Airport South-Burlingame) Embassy Suites

I tried booking through Priceline and couldn't seem to find a deal on a hotel near SFO. I went to Hotwire and found a 4* for $79. I tried to use packages to find out which hotel it was, but the hotels didn't seem to fit.

Finally, I used the tripadvisor.com ratings & number of posts and figured out that it was probably going to be Embassy Suites. Got the guts to book it and sure enough, it was!

Subtotal - $79

Taxes & fees - $16.77

Total - $95.77

On their website the "best available rate" is $179 and "advance purchase rate" is $119. So I guess we saved about $40!

Glad to see that you were able to figure this out, but another approach would have been to look in our Hotwire Hotel List where we keep lists of all the hotels reported to the board... then use the other approaches you went thru to confirm.
