Note that DoubleTree (per their website) charges (I believe) $14/night for self-parking ($20/night for Valet parking). HOTWIRE indicates that some hotels charge a parking surchage and this is not included in your hotwire booking. To me, saving a whole boatload of money, even if I have to pay the lame parking fee is still worth it -- especially considering I *really wanted* the DoubleTree (so it would be within walking distance to where I need to go), but did *not* want to pay their high price + their high parking price.
