This was my first bad experience using HOTWIRE since my first time over 5 years ago!

First of all when I checked in they informed me that even though there were plenty of double bed rooms available it would be an extra $10 per night because HOTWIRE rates were for single rooms only and there were no exceptions.

Then the room was filthy dirty! Here is a picture of the shower!

Do not book this hotel. DO NOT book a 2* hotel in Asheville Central with just Laundry ammenity.

Sorry to hear you were disappointed in your stay, but thank you for sharing it with the board and helping us add this property to the Hotwire Hotel List.

Not sure what star rating you typcially select but this is probably the first ESA that you won as most of them do charge extra for rooms for two beds. This is not 'discrimination' of PRICELINE and HOTWIRE customers for if you check their website (searching for 2adults) you'll see that they charge $10 extra for these rooms when booking direct. PRICELINE and HOTWIRE reservation are for 'standard' rooms, so the 2 bedded room is concsidered an upgrade, and if available the Extended Stay is passing along the difference in cost in the two room types.

Also, if you'd like to post your shower picture please either post to our sister site Real Hotel Photos.com and then hotlink or send us an email with the photo as an attachment (but PM us beforehand and let us know it's coming so that we don't delete the email as spam)... this ultimatley prevents broken links on the board as well as prevents users from hotlinking images from external sites which deliver pop-ups when the images are clicked.
