Priceline Hotel: Paris Help Feb 2009

Hi My Wife and i have are travelling to Paris 6-8 Feb.

Any suggestions for hotels and best areas to stay (and of course avoid!)would be gratefully received, as would we for things to do etc.

As it is our first time in Paris and it a short stay we want to be central to as many tourist attractions as possible.
