Priceline Hotel: 2* Spokane (Downtown) Howard Johnson Spokane

Was looking for someplace under $50. Didn't really care about location (downtown & valley preferable but not necessary) and hotel ranking wasn't critical (I'm willing to stay in a 1* if it's good value). Checked HW availability for that day and looked like I could possibly get a 3* for around $50.

Made the same set of bids ($32, $37, $42, $47) at each rating (3*, then 2 1/2*, then 2*). Started with downtown, then added a zone with each bid (there are 2 free rebids at the 3* level and 1 at the 2 1/2 star).

Winning bid was $37 for the 2* downtown Howard Johnson. I've stayed at this well-managed, conveniently located property before, so was pleased to get it again.
