thereuare
Congratulations on your win!!Looks like a better deal than the $69/nite their webiste offers and it looks like this hotel also offers a complimentary breakfast. The offer to bid again immediately if you raise by $6 is a COUNTER-OFFER and they can usually be under-cut by a few dollars (just want you to know for future bids in case it presents itself again). Sometimes the counter-offer is to increase your bid by A LOT (like $20+) so undercutting it is a big deal on a multi-nite/multi-room stay, but in this instance not a big deal since it was only a few dollars. You sound excited about your deal and you should be... now the hard part is not to bore everyone you know about the great deal you got! (it'll be hard to keep your mouth shut). Glad to hear of your first success and hopefully you'll never have to pay retail again.Enjoy your trip and thank you for placing your hotel purchase thru the lnk at SavingsBarn.com Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment
dhr1971
If it's anything like the Microtel in Sandusky, OH (only an hour away),the Continental breakfast is pretty nice. It was mini-muffins, danishs, bagels, orange/apple juice, coffee, milk, and cereal. And they keptthe tables stocked. :) I've seen Continental "breakfast"s before that were basically a pile ofdonuts. First come, first serve. I expected about the same and waspleasantly surprised. Link to comment
vanclan
The report on the possibility of a nice breakfast is encouraging-especially at these rates! Our stay is tomorrow and Saturday night...I'll report back what I find! Link to comment
vanclan
Just returned-had a great stay. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Note Location-it is just off I 75 Exit 198. IF you use mapquest, or yahoo, and map this address, it will map another location in Toldeo. Staff say every weekend they have folks calling them who are "lost" due to the fact they followed the internet mapping directions-be sure and call the hotel if you need further info. Continental Breakfast was Eng. Muffins, 3 types of muffins, donuts, bagels, orange, and cranberry juice, hot/cold cereals, coffee, tea, hot chocolate. It is true they replentished the tables often-even 10 minutes before breakfast was finished. Great deal on priceline. Link to comment
