I did a search for Madison for 9/15 - 9/19/08. Hotwire shows a 2* hotel with fitness center, pool, and laundry facilities.

Hotwire lists it as a "Customer Favorite" and "Best Value"

It is a deal at $29 per night...any ideas what hotel this is?

Unfortunately this property has not yet been identified... but i wouldn't expect too much from it. At best maybe a Comfort Inn... at the low end a Travelodge, Super8, HoJo, Days Inn, etc.

If you don't require much and your budget is a factor, you could see if this hotel appears for the first (or last) nite of your stay and then again for the balance... if so you could purhase the first nite to 'look behind the curtain' and then decide if you want to purchase the remaining nites or not.

i'd be hesitant to go w/that - that's just such a low price, you'll probably end up in one of the motels off the beltline. not a good scene.....

Thanks for the advice. I tried to see if I could get the hotel to come up just for the first or last night of my stay - as suggested - but this hotel would only come up for a portion of my stay. It sounds "too good to be true" and I don't know if I want to be the guinea pig to find out which hotel this is. Though the price is still tempting...
