mahousuki Posted September 1, 2008 Report Posted September 1, 2008 I'm going to my gf's cousin's wedding in Ohio and will need to book two rooms. My room is for friday and saturday nights: 9/26-9/27, and I need to book a second room for her parents for three nights, fri-sat-sun: 9/26-9/28. I plan on doing this through two separate bookings, and we're ok with ending up in different hotels. My target budget is $50/night for both bookings. As far as I can tell, I have three rebid zones? If someone could help me build a bidding strategy, I'd be very grateful. TIA.Successfully bid for two reservations, both won at $46.First room for two nights I bid:$45 for Independence. Got free rebid offer if I raised by $13 which I ignored.$46 adding Brookpark and they accepted.Tax/fees were $22.36Second room for three nights I decided to start lower. Bids were:$43 Independence rejected, free rebid offered for $12 raise, which I declined$44 Independence + Brookpark rejected$45 I + B + Mentor rejected$46 I + B + M + Westlake accepted!Tax/fees were #30.20Both rooms are at the Hilton Cleveland East/Beachwood
