Priceline Hotel: Athens help needed please

I am looking for 4-5* in central Athens, Greece. We are hoping to get a room at the Intercontinental or Crowne Plaza.

I am requesting a bidding strategy for the area. I have already bid

I read the FAQ and decided to bid again.

Rejected at $85 for rebid 5* and 4*

Are my current bids too low, what does everyone think? I don't want to make a huge jump to my max bid just yet, but I don't have a backup hotel so I am hoping to confirm rooms soon.
