We love Dublin, but with the difficulty finding a decent price on a decent hotel, and Dublin airfares having gone up, we decided to abandon this trip and head to a new city for us, Budapest. Hope someone else manages to ID some of these Dublin hotels.

Dublin does seem to be a little tricky on Priceline and Hotwire. I'm glad you love Dublin, please come back! Here's some advice from a native. There's 2 other web sites you can try to book with http:www.bewleyshotels.com and www.d4hotels.ie both offer great locations and a flat rate of

No hotels for Dublin have been reported to the board, and unfortunately I do not see the 4.5* hotel being offered anymore.

Also, with so few amenities associated with the 4* it is very hard to pinpoint which hotel it could be.

My computer is being really slow right now, so it's hard for me to try and find other alternatives.

Thanks- we decided to spend this weekend in Budapest instead of Dublin. Since then we rebooked the Dublin trip for spring and have booked a room at the Westin. I'll keep trying on Priceline, but I got a decent refundable rate that seems hard to beat considering what I've seen. Plus it's a hotel we've stayed in before and loved.

The Westin is a lovely hotel in an unbeatable location, although I'd say it's difficult to get at a good price. Maybe the links I gave could be useful to others who are considering Dublin and can't get a deal on PRICELINE. I'm not sure about the identity of the hotels described above. Anyway enjoy your stay at the Westin.
