juanma Posted August 26, 2008 Report Posted August 26, 2008 Hi Guys, first let me thank you for your time.Ok so here's the deal. My wife and I plan to stop by NY a few days before heading back to South America. The thing is I have no idea how to get the best out of my bucks and the most out of Priceline. Can you guys help me find a 4/3.5/3 star hotel? Because my wife is pregnant (woohoo!! first time daddy here! :) ) I would like to avoid having to walk too much, so I'm hoping I can find something on Midtown West/East & Central Park South. That would be perfect actually.Ok so I'm ready guys, tell me what to do and I'll do it!Once again, I appreciate your time.

juanma Posted August 27, 2008 Author Report Posted August 27, 2008 Hey Man, preferably... no, but it definitively sounds like a great 4th option on the list:1) Mid West2) Mid East3) Central Park South4) Time Square? As for how much, I really can't say. $ 100 ~ $ 200-ish? Does that sound even reasonable?
thereuare Posted August 27, 2008 Report Posted August 27, 2008 Based upon current rates $200 is not likely going to be enough for a 4* hotel for these dates... and i'm doubtful if it will be enough for a 3* either. However, it doesn't hurt to try... but for us to suggest a strategy did you want to include the Times Square zone in your bidding or not? Did you want to try for a 4* first up to your limit and then try for a 3* OR are you looking for the least expensive 3* or better for this stay?If you're willing to raise your limit let us know that as well. Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases. juanma Posted August 27, 2008 Author Report Posted August 27, 2008 Yes, let's include Times Square and yes, let's just try to get the least expensive 3* or better and forget 4* all together.
thereuare Posted August 27, 2008 Report Posted August 27, 2008 At the 3* level you have three re-bid zones.
