LadyBug50
This hotel wraps around in a circle with a street view or a courtyard view. At check-in I asked for the nicest room available. The desk clerk gave me a somewhat obstructed courtyard view. The room smelled of urine and was musty, with stains on the carpet. ( Perhaps the reason for the smell was because they accept pets ?) We asked for another room and was given a room also with carpet stains, but smelled better. The TV was not working properly so we were moved again. This time to a better room with a nice courtyard view. The rooms were a bit on the small side. The sink is located in the bathroom. The positives of this hotel were the nice sized game room with a pool table and the biggest indoor pool I have ever seen at a hotel, along with what looks like a nice exercise room. It has a nice sized hot tub. It has a restaurant and lounge. The room furniture and bedding were in good shape as well as the bathroom fixtures and vanity. No loose tiles or peeling wallpaper. The beds were quite comfortable. There is both complimentary morning coffee and USA Today newspaper in the lobby. The front desk were accommodating, with no Priceline attitude. The hotel is located near a large mall and has plenty of chain restaurants nearby. Madison Holiday Inn (east) Link to comment
