piattkid Posted August 20, 2004 Author Report Posted August 20, 2004 Reply to above. I think Park Inn was $28 (too lazy to look)Amerisuites was a very good 2.5 star. Room very large and FREE internet access - good quality TV and furnishings. Breakfast good, but seating inadequate for a large hotel (take food to room on tray provided if no table available). Very near airport and good shuttle. If you rent from Thrifty Car (off site), site is 1 block away. Safe area. Pool looked ok, but did not use.

My latest Amersuites was $38.The Park Inn was not too good 6 months ago, but being updated (carpets, paint, etc. ) and so now an average 2*. Further out from Airport than other airport area hotels, but not real far. A bit remote to walk to restaurants, etc. Still an adequate 2*.

Again, not as close as most other airport hotels, which are on a 3/4 mile strip very close to airport. But with a car, only 5 min away.
