jicms Posted August 23, 2008 Report Posted August 23, 2008 Can anyone advise on me booking one night, August 26th, at Niagara Falls - Canadian side, preferably 4*? Should I go for PRICELINE and HOTWIRE. I've forgotten the best method! Any help would be much appreciated. I tried Hotwire using the package method to identify their hotels but I couldn't get packages to Niagara Falls. I'm booking for my son and girlfriend. They already have one night booked at the Hampton Inn, North of the Falls on the 27th (booked direct with the hotel) but would like another night on the 26th somewhere a close drive to the Hampton Inn the next day. I'm really confused about the areas PRICELINE give.

jicms Posted August 25, 2008 Author Report Posted August 25, 2008 Took a guess at what to bid on Priceline as follows:4* Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada - Niagara Falls area08/26/08 - 1 night $135 was accepted by Marriott Niagara Falls Fallsview Hotel & Spa. ($161.68 with taxes) Failed at $121, accepted at $135.

jicms Posted August 27, 2008 Author Report Posted August 27, 2008 This was a bargain! It must be the case that Priceline UK charge much higher prices as they refused $121 before tax so I didn't try to bid lower on the PRICELINE.com.
