Priceline Hotel: 3* Atlanta (Perimeter) Holiday Inn Select

I was actually bidding in the Perimeter area for a 2.5*, hoping that the Hilton Garden Inn would bite. My girls are in the Miss United States Pageant there. I also tried bidding this on June 26th, but was rejected at $31. Even though there are lots of areas in Atlanta, there are no free rebids when bidding for a 2.5*, because all the areas have 2.5*. :)

Since $31 didn't make it more than a week ago, I tried $32 today. I was accepted and upgraded to this 3*.

That's OK. I am not terribly dissapointed that we didn't get the Hilton Garden Inn. I knew there were other 2.5* hotels that I might get, and also saw that someone else had recently gotten this Hol. Inn Select. My husband and I will have a nice relaxing last night in Atlanta away from the Pageant contestants. :)

Cheapest rate I could find for this Holiday Inn Select was an advance purchase on the internet of $87 from the hotel's website.
