kbac
I've been trying to get a hotel in Downtown Toronto using Priceline for the past few days and have had no luck. I checked on Hotwire and the two 4 star hotels are $200 and $300, which is WAY higher than I have ever seen. I don't know if something is going on or I just got really lucky every other time I got a hotel. Any ideas?? Link to comment
Luchipboo
I'm not sure how much this matters, but the red sox are going to be in town. That is why I will be visiting. They generally travel with a very large fan base. We come from all over.SORRY and good luck! Link to comment
slick_gd
In addition to the Red Sox vs Jays game, the Canadian National Exhibition has opened for this year (it is only open for 2 weeks each year), as well as numerous other festivals across the city. This may explain the packed hotels. I would say that this weekend is the anomaly, as you are right, the prices are usually not this high. Link to comment
