Hotwire Hotel: 3* Quebec City

Hi - I am getting a 3* hotel in Quebec City on Hotwire for 89 USD (30 Aug - 1 Sep 2008).

It lists the amenities as Fitness Center, Business Center, Restaurant, Golf Nearby - any idea on what the hotel could be?

From previous posts, there are two 3* hotels that hotwire offers in Quebec City - Hotel Pur and Best Western. Both of them have different amenities (pool) - which is not listed in my search and does not display golf nearby.

Also, I guess the HOTWIRE hotels do not guarantee that the hotel would be in the Old City. How big is Quebec City and will it matter if the hotel is not in Old City?

I know that the 4 star hotels are just outside the walls of the old city. I don't know about the 3 stars. Yes you want to be in or near the old section of town. Bon Voyage Mark

Unfortunately the property above has not yet been identified. I can't comment on the location, but the tripadvisor rating shown with this prperty (4.0/5.0) is pretty good so i wouldn't be worried too much about the 'overall experience' of the hotel you ultmately receive.
