2* Hotels range there from 119$ per night on up.

I think this may be a tough win given it's "in season" and many of the hotels will likely sell-out on their own (i imagine from what i know of the area) and you're looking for a sole Saturday nite (and many hotels may hold-out looking for a minimum 2 nite stay of Friday-Sunday)

Your $83 rejection would be close to $90 after PRICELINE fees are taken into consideration... how much would you need to save over the $119/nite hotel to make the 'unknown' factor of which 2* hotel you will receive worthwhile? What is the 2* for $119/nite... is it decent?

you must be right about the two night minimum. have bid up to 105$ and not gotten a bite. The hotwire has a mix of hotels at the 2* level, some good and some that are not exciting. think i might just do the buy on the norma lhotel websites. thanks
