Priceline Hotel: New York 4 stars sept 13-15

Going to New York(4 of us) sept 13-15(weekend)

looking for 2 rooms in 4 star.

I've started from 120$ went up to 135$ no luck.

When can I rebid any other advice?

Zone 2 5 8 9 10 starting from 120$ then

adding 1 at 125$

and so on up to 150$ ...

No luck so far ...

Would you suggest to increase max bid ?

Do I have to try to get just one room per bid ?

You'll likely need to increase your bid unless you want to take a chance and wait it out (which i don't recommend unless you have a back-up reservation which you're very comfortable with)

Also, not sure if it's an option or not, but i think you could get a great deal on a nice hotel in Jersey City which would give you access to NYC via PATH train (10 minutes to Downtown)... but you do lose the 'nyc vibe'.

Do you have a back-up reservation? (if so, where and how much) What is your maximum bid for this stay?
