JARSHEART Posted August 7, 2008 Report Posted August 7, 2008 Check in 8/16/08, check out 8/17/08, 3* with fitness center, pool, restaurant, hi-speed internet for $53/night. Has a rating of 4 on Trip Advisor, with 20+ reviews. I tried to figure it out by looking on Trip Advisor, and came up with Hampton Inn North Universal Blvd, but if that is correct, why does it come up under Seaworld on Hotwire ? Unless I am wrong. Help !!Many thanks,Michelle
JARSHEART Posted August 7, 2008 Author Report Posted August 7, 2008 I just looked at Trip Advisor again, another possibility is Hampton Inn & Suites Orlando International Drive North. In the reviews, reservations made through Priceline for this particular hotel were cancelled by the manager. Yikes !! I still need help with the ID, if possible. Thanks,Michelle
thereuare Posted August 7, 2008 Report Posted August 7, 2008 This property has not yet been identified, but the Hampton Inn International Drive North isn't in the SeaWorld zone nor do i believe it has a restaurant, so i'm doubtful that is the property you're seeing. Not too confident in this guess, but the Holiday Inn Hotel and Suites Convention Center seems to fit and is in this zone so that would at least be a possibility. Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases. JARSHEART Posted August 13, 2008 Author Report Posted August 13, 2008 After much thought, I decided to "go for it", it had everything I wanted at the price I wanted. So despite not knowing which property it was, I went ahead, and you were right on target. I will post this here, and as a separate post.3* Seaworld I Drive south with fitness center, pool, restaurant and hi speed internet-Holiday Inn Hotel and Suites Orlando-Orange County Convention Center. $53/night for 8/16-8/17.And of course, I used the HOTWIRE link. Many thanks,Michelle

thereuare Posted August 13, 2008 Report Posted August 13, 2008 Congratulations on your success!Glad to you felt that $53 was a good rate for a 3* property and that you decided to go for it and are hopefully happy with the results (the reviews are very good). At least this wasn't a total surprise since it was mentioned as a likely possibility... but thanks to you is is now 'confirmed' and can be added to the Hotwire Hotel List. :)Thank you for sharing your results with the board and using our HOTWIRE link to begin your purchase.Enjoy your stay. JARSHEART Posted August 13, 2008 Author Report Posted August 13, 2008 Yes, I am very pleased with the hotel. The 3* Hotwire rating PLUS the 4 out of 5 rating on Trip Advisor (which I am quite familar with, and which I trust) plus the factors I already mentioned made me go for it. The reviews are great, it looks much better than the hotel I was using as a backup in Lakeland (which I did not get through Hotwire and which I have already cancelled). Glad that I was able to help Better Bidding get another hotel on the list. Woo hoo !!So far: Better Bidding+Hotwire+Trip Advisor ratings=awesome hotels w/awesome rates for me :) Many thanks,Michelle
