snoopie_24 Posted August 11, 2008 Report Posted August 11, 2008 Hi I tried Bidding in the Copley and Financial District for 4* by adding zones for Saturday August 16 (1 night). I started at 100, then went to 110, then went to 120, and then up to 140. Currently I have had no success. Any suggestions? I'm looking at a max bid of 175. Has anyone had any successes.
thenewbie Posted August 11, 2008 Report Posted August 11, 2008 Would you be willing to stay in the Waterfront area? It's a short ride on the Silver Line from South Station (2 stops away). You should be able to win the Renaissance Boston Waterfront for around $105/night (see: Priceline Renaissance ). It's in the 3-star category on PRICELINE, but it's a 4-star property with rates normally $329/night.
thereuare Posted August 14, 2008 Report Posted August 14, 2008 Welcome to BetterBidding! What are your needs for this stay? I just returned from staying in the Waterfront area and it would probably be fine for a one nite stay, but it did feel kind of isolated from the rest of the city over a multi-nite stay. Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases. snoopie_24 Posted January 25, 2011 Author Report Posted January 25, 2011 I ended up booking a corporate rate for $155 a night at the Hilton by waterfront. See if there are corporate rates, sometimes they're lower depending on the corporation and the location.
