brimac75 Posted August 8, 2008 Report Posted August 8, 2008 Has anyone had any luck or know any stratagies for booking 11/2 - 11/4 at a 4* on the south strip (would live with RIO or TI). I seem to be able to find reasonable rates on Sunday but Monday is through the roof? My budget for those nights are a total of $300 but I have a feeling that I may be able to stay under $225 with effort.
AaronJB Posted August 8, 2008 Report Posted August 8, 2008 I'm admittedly not very familiar with Vegas, but I see the 5* Bellagio on Orbitz.com for $169, plus you can use the coupon code FABSAVE10 for 10% off the final total. The TreasureIsland is $149.Please use the site's link to Orbitz.com (click the Orbitz) if this is of any interest.
thereuare Posted August 8, 2008 Report Posted August 8, 2008 You could also book the Bellagio direct on their website (please use our Bellagio link for $159/nite, click the "promo" link once you're at their site)... this is just about the same as the Orbitz deal above once you factor in the oritz booking fee, but it's also cancellable without penalty (always doublecheck yourself during the check-out process) up until 48 hour before your stay which also gives you time to take advantage of any other deals which may become available. This is a great deal for the Bellagio... the question is whether you want to pay a little more for this 5* property vs. a 4* property. brimac75 Posted August 14, 2008 Author Report Posted August 14, 2008 Just an FYI for everyone, I have spent the past week workign my mouse-hand to the bone trying to find a hotel for 11/2 - 11/4 and the monday night price almost triples everywhere I look. Turns out that an autoparts convention is town with 120,000 conventioneers. Good luck all.
